What credits cover
Managed credits cover AI chat, document synthesis, extraction, embeddings, visual descriptions, and managed cloud storage. Usage is metered by the operation, including tokens for language models and embeddings. The minimum managed charge is one credit per operation.
- Can I use my own AI provider?
- Yes. Connect your own Ollama instance, a private LLM endpoint, or your own API key and no managed credits are charged.
- Do credits expire?
- No. One-time credit purchases do not expire. Monthly subscription credits reset each billing cycle.
- What happens when credits run out?
- By default, managed AI features continue and any small balance is settled at the next purchase. Organisation administrators can choose stricter controls.
